Thursday, May 7
Buses will operate on a reduced service schedule on Thursday, May 7.
Carlton Street between Sanford Drive and East Campus Road will close to vehicle traffic beginning at 7:00 AM, and buses will detour around this closure.
The following routes will be impacted by this detour:
UGA Campus Transit Routes
- C – Campus Housing
- DN – North South Night
- MN – Milledge Night
- R – Riverbend
Athens-Clarke County Transit Routes
- Route 9
- Route 12
- Route 14
- Route 26
Service will be suspended to the Myers/Snelling, Coliseum/SLC, Plant Sciences, Aderhold, Coverdell, and Driftmier bus stops.
C Line and DN Line buses will detour via Cedar Street on the northbound and southbound directions. Passengers are advised to use stops at Physics or Tucker Hall.
MN Line buses will detour via Lumpkin Street. Passengers are advised to use the stop at Physics or Rutherford Hall.
R Line buses will detour via East Campus Road. Passengers should use the East Campus Village bus stop.
Friday, May 8
Buses will operate on a reduced service schedule on Friday, May 8.
Sanford Drive between Hooper Street and Cedar Street will remain closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic throughout the day, and buses will detour around this closure.
The following routes will be impacted by this detour:
- A – Central East
- C – Campus Housing
- DN – North South Night
- MN – Milledge Night
Passengers at Tate Center – MLC and Tate Center – Memorial Hall should board buses at Tate Center – Instructional Plaza.
Passengers at the Physics Northbound and Southbound stops should board buses at Rutherford Hall.
C Line service to Lumpkin St. @ BLC will be suspended. Passengers should use the A or DN Lines to connect at Rutherford Hall.
D Line service to North Deck will be suspended. Passengers should use the Arch/Downtown bus stop for service to the ACC Multi-Modal Transportation Center.
S – Stadium Loop
S – Stadium Loop will operate between East Deck and Sanford Stadium starting at 5:00 PM. Service will run for one hour after the ceremony has completed.
There will be no service to the Intramural Fields Deck or Lot E01.
