Friday, April 24
Buses will operate on a regular weekday schedule on Friday, April 24.
Sanford Drive between the Hooper Street and Cedar Street will close to vehicle and pedestrian traffic beginning at 5:00 PM, and buses will detour around this closure.
The following routes will be impacted by this detour:
UGA Campus Transit Routes
- A – Central East
- B – Main Campus
- C – Campus Housing
- D – North South
- H – Health Sciences
- MN – Milledge Night
- W – West Campus
Athens-Clarke County Transit Routes
- Route 9
- Route 12
- Route 14
- Route 26
Passengers at Tate Center – MLC and Tate Center – Memorial Hall should board buses at Tate Center – Instructional Plaza.
Passengers at the Physics Northbound and Southbound stops should board buses at Rutherford Hall.
B Line service to Food Science and Chemistry will be suspended. Passengers should utilize the A Line for service to North and Central Campus.
C Line service to Lumpkin St. @ BLC will be suspended. Passengers should utilize the A, B, or D Lines to connect at Rutherford Hall.
D Line service to North Deck will be suspended. Passengers should utilize the Arch/Downtown bus stop for service to the ACC Multi-Modal Transportation Center.
Passengers should expect longer trip times, and may need to transfer buses to reach their final destination.
Saturday, April 25
Buses will provide modified service on Saturday, April 25.
Weekender Transit Service
Weekender buses will operate on regular schedule from 10:00 am – 7:00 pm.
Road closures will be in effect around Sanford Stadium throughout the day. Service to The Arch/Downtown Athens, Main Library, all Tate Center bus stops, and both Physics bus stops will be suspended.
Buses will detour via West Campus and Lumpkin Street, making temporary stops at Lumpkin St @ BLC (Southbound) and Hull St @ BLC (Northbound). Buses will serve West Campus @ Black Diallo Miller Hall and West Campus @ Creswell Hall in the southbound direction only.
S – Stadium Loop
S – Stadium Loop will operate between East Deck and Sanford Stadium starting at 3:30 PM and will run continuously throughout the concert. Service will run for one hour after the concert or until traffic patterns have returned to normal.
There will be no service to the Intramural Fields Deck or Lot E01.
Evening Transit Service
Due to road closures, CN – Campus Housing Night and MN – Milledge Night buses will be suspended.
Sunday, April 26
Regular weekend bus service will resume on Sunday, April 26 at 12:00 PM. Please visit the Fall / Spring Service page for additional information on weekend service.
