For your best chance of receiving a parking permit, please register during Round 1, using your online account at tps.uga.edu, by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2020.
Round 1 is the first and largest round of permit assignments, and fewer permits will be available in rounds 2 and 3. If you do not receive your top choice when assignments are made, your name will remain on our waitlist and upgrades to lot assignments will occur throughout the year based on space availability.
Tips for the Best Chance of Getting Your Preferred Parking Spot:
- Be sure to make all 5 selections. Choosing only 1 selection could result in not receiving a permit.
- Consider where your priority group has precedence on the Parking Priority Chart. (Ex. Staff and Faculty members have the highest precedence in Staff lots while students living on-campus have the highest priority in Housing lots and students living off-campus have the highest priority in Staff/Graduate Assistant lots.)
- If you do not register, no lot guarantee or “grandfathering” will occur.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response
Transportation and Parking Services is working closely with Auxiliary Services and the University to ensure we all return to a safe and healthy environment by adhering to social distancing guidelines and paying special attention to the sanitation of parking decks and buses. All elevators in the parking decks will be sanitized throughout the day and overnight. Transportation and Parking Services employees will use backpack sprayers to sanitize deck stairwells overnight as well as inside each bus. All rails and handles on buses will continue to be wiped down with disinfecting wipes between class breaks.
