What do I do if I need accessible entry on a UGA bus or paratransit service?

Passengers who need accessible entry may notify the driver and load from the front door. Accessible van services are available through UGA Paratransit. To seek these services, students need to contact the Disability Resource Center at (706) 542-8719.

If I choose not to ride a bus, what other forms of transportation are available?

Walking and bicycling are great options for quickly navigating campus. The Daily Class Schedule has been adjusted to a total of 20 minutes between classes to allow students more time. Point-to-point walking and bicycling routes may be found on the UGA app’s campus map module.

UGA reCYCLE is a need-based bicycle recycling and redistribution program for the UGA campus community. The program refurbishes bikes that were abandoned on campus bike racks and puts them in the hands of UGA students and employees who need them for transportation to and from school or work.

Is there a touch-free way to pay for hourly parking?

For touchless payments, customers may use the ParkMobile app when paying for hourly parking.

How will buses and parking decks be kept clean?

  • All rails and handles on buses will be wiped down with disinfecting wipes between class breaks.
