Effective July 15, 2024, UGA Transportation & Parking Services (TPS) will permanently close and relocate all bus stops on Rogers Road in University Village. These changes are being made as part of the University’s ongoing campus-wide security initiatives.
Bulldog Housing, Night Campus, and Weekender routes will follow new alignments as a result of this change. Buses will now service University Village via Milledge Avenue Extension in both the north and southbound directions.
The following bus stops will be impacted by this service adjustment:
- Building S: The stop at Building S will close permanently. Passengers should utilize the new University Village bus loop located across from Building R.
- Building Q: The stop at Building Q will close permanently. Passengers should utilize the new University Village bus loop located across from Building R.
- Building P: The stop serving Building P will move to Milledge Avenue Extension across from the southern end of Building P. Passengers should utilize this relocated stop.
- Rogers Road: The stop at Rogers Road will close permanently. Campus Transit buses will now stop at the ACC Transit bus stop on East Campus Road at the intersection of Rogers Road.
Existing stops on Milledge Avenue Extension (Brandon Oaks and Jamestown Apartments) will not be impacted by this change.
