Contractor Parking

A valid UGA parking permit is required to park on campus. Contractors are encouraged to contact Parking Services regarding parking and permits prior to submitting bids on projects.

Contractors may purchase a Contractor permit, which allows them access to all lots on campus. The current cost is $720 per permit for 12 months and is prorated throughout the year.

Contractor permits must be purchased in-person at the TPS Customer Relations Office (30 Baxter Street, Athens, GA 30602).

Permits may be returned for a prorated monthly refund at the TPS Customer Relations Office. If a card is used to purchase the permit, the same card must be presented during the return in order to receive a refund.

Contractors are responsible to inform workers of campus parking requirements.

Vendor Permits

Representatives of companies that maintain goods and services may purchase a Vendor permit, which allows them access to all lots on campus. Affiliate Parking

Customers who are not employed or paid by the University, but work on campus are considered University Affiliates.

  • University Affiliates may purchase a parking permit by submitting the Affiliate Registration form and completing online registration (a UGA ID number is required to obtain a parking permit).
  • Affiliate permits must be paid in full at the time of purchase. Permits may be returned for a prorated monthly refund at TPS Custmer Relations in Tate Plaza.
