The Airport Shuttle Initiative assists out-of-state students with the cost of transportation to and from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Through a vendor discount and UGA subsidy, out-of-state students can book airport shuttle services at a reduced price with Groome Transportation.
This program is made possible by generous support from the Office of the President in collaboration with the Student Government Association and Auxiliary Services.
When is the Airport Shuttle Initiative active?
The Airport Shuttle Initiative is active during the Thanksgiving break period and the winter break period.
2025-2026 Service Dates
- November 21 – December 1, 2025
- December 5 – December 13, 2025
- January 8 – January 12, 2026
Groome Transportation requires that reservations be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Where are the pick-up/drop-off locations on campus?
Groome Transportation will pick up and drop off students at two locations on campus:
- Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel
- River Road Bus Turnout (between East Campus Parking Deck and Busbee Hall)

Enrollment will open on September 29, 2025.
