Transportation & Parking Services will implement the following bus service changes effective August 12, 2024.
Chicopee Shuttle
Chicopee Shuttle will now service the School of Social Work in both the outbound and inbound directions to improve connectivity to main campus.
Additionally, the bus will now stop at Psychology/Journalism.
The stop at the Main Library will no longer be served by this route.
North South Connector
North South Connector will make an additional stop at East Campus Village to provide service between North and East Campus. The route will depart Building F and travel via College Station Road and River Road, before resuming its regular route at Tucker Hall.
Additional buses have been added to this route to provide increased capacity and frequency during peak travel times.
Park & Ride
To improve frequency and reliability for passengers traveling from Lot E23 and the Intramural Fields Complex, Park & Ride buses will bypass East Campus Village on inbound trips and Joe Frank Harris Commons/University Health Center on outbound trips.
Buses will travel via East Campus Road and College Station Road between Tucker Hall and the Intramural Fields in both directions.
Evening Park & Ride
After 7:00 PM on weekdays, Park & Ride will extend to cover the Vet Med Center, Lot E26, and stops along College Station Road.
Buses will bypass stops on Ag Hill and Sanford Drive after 7:00 PM.
Passengers should utilize the stops at Psychology/Journalism, Human Resources, Spring Street, and Tucker Hall for service to stops along College Station Road.
This service will run until 9:00 PM on weekdays.
Riverbend Connector
To improve connectivity to South Millage Avenue and Riverbend Road, the Greenhouse Shuttle will be replaced by Riverbend Connector.
This bus will serve the Club Sports Complex and Lakeside Apartment Complex in addition to the other stops currently served by the Greenhouse Shuttle.
To improve peak service headways, an additional bus has been added to this route. This service will run until 9:00 PM on weekdays.
East Campus Shuttle
To improve evening connectivity on Main Campus, East Campus Shuttle will operate until 9:00 PM on weekdays.
Vet Med
To improve peak service headways, an additional bus has been added to this route.
